A Little About Me
Listen, I know you're frustrated.
You've got all these goals, dreams, and ideas, but you're not sure how to make it all happen.
Here's where I come in:
I've been right where you are. Wanting to get into a music school and hoping for a scholarship. And I have been successful, twice!! I am grateful to say that I have my bachelors in Flute Performance from Bowling Green State University and my Masters in Classical Flute from the Manhattan School of Music.
Now I want to pass on the stuff that really works, and warn you about the stuff that doesn't!
With the help of phenomenal teachers and programs, I have learned the secret to a more effective and encouraging practice session. Which ultimately leads to thrilling performances where you are free to unleash your musical potential.
My Story
Ever since I was a little girl I've always had a flair for the dramatic, the fanciful, and the whimsical. So of course the flute is the obvious instrument choice for me.
Except that it wasn't my first pick!
Believe it or not, my first choice was the drums. And although my dreams of drumming were sadly not to be, I am so grateful that the flute chose me!
I got my start in 6th grade public school band class and by the time I hit 7th grade, I was totally committed. I sold my American Girl doll so that I could buy my first flute and announced to my parents that I was going to become a professional flutist.

So needless to say, I fell in love with the flute. Even though I didn't get serious private instruction until my late high school years, I was a hard worker and never lost sight of my goals.
Now, I have two degrees in what I love: Flute Performance. I received my Bachelors from Bowling Green State University and my Masters from the Manhattan School of Music. I have also accomplished my dream of playing in a professional orchestra! Now it's my turn to help you through your exciting, musical journey. I honestly can't wait to work with you!
